big smileEarlier today, I had the pleasure of talking to some incredibly attentive students of the  Commercial Photography Program (at the Seattle Central Creative Academy located on the Seattle Central Community campus).  When I arrived, it reminded me of the old days of school where “us students”  would talk before the Professor would start and we were “acting” like students.  After I taught at Korea Maritime and Pukyong Universities in Busan, I related with my past Professors for the first time.  Today, I was reminded again that it’s a very different perspective on the other side.

We scheduled out 2 hours to talk about SEO & a little about Social Media.  I was fortunate to have an incredible studio to share my thoughts via a powerpoint that’s located on my SEO Marketing Speaking Engagements page.  Not only were the photography students very attentive, but they engaged in the most polite manner and asked some wonderful questions.  It reminded me how much I might want to some day go back and teach very curious college students how to leverage the many things in society to their benefit.

And despite the day being a very exhausting one, I can peacefully sleep because a couple of the sweetest messages were given to me by a couple of the students who were present.  These messages what truly make me smile from cheek to cheek.  Thank you Raquel & Olivia.  You were too kind with your tweet and email.

Wonderful talk by @seattleseofirm on  #SEO. Learned a ton!

Hi Brandon,

I just wanted to say thank you for coming into our class today to talk about SEO. You were really great – honestly, one of our best presenters we’ve had come to the program. What you had to say was incredibly helpful and very timely for all of us since we are preparing to take that leap out on our own. We can use all the help we can get! 🙂 I was actually just about to tackle SEO for my new site, and now I feel like I have a better handle on what to do and what not to do.
Thank you so much for giving us your time!
All the best,
Olivia Brent

p.s. If you haven’t seen the Photography program at Seattle Central, you SHOULD!  It’s an amazing facility.  I guess $8.5 million dollars was put into it and it absolutely stunning.  I think some of the best photographers in the world are currently being bred inside those beautiful halls.  And I also have to say Professor Alejandro Tomas Sanchez de Aragon Hammond was the most gracious host. It was a sincere pleasure and if you ever get a chance to have him host you, I would highly recommend it. What an incredibly nice man!
