Not sure if you’ve seen it lately, but on subway cars, on streets and all over the world, people are playing Pokemon Go!
So, I took a look at how many people were searching terms related to it.
Searches for “Pokemon”
It didn’t look like anything special was occurring. So, I moved over to google trends to see what they had to say:
Wow! The numbers seemed to contradict the numbers above or maybe they haven’t fully tabulated the results over at the Adwords department yet. They also have some screwy things going on with there numbers. So, I’m not sure if I could trust their numbers.
However, it’s always tough to gauge how much is “a lot?” As a result, it’s best to compare against the top searches.
This has actually been a business opportunity for certain types of businesses. There have been some local companies in my area that serve food & drink to the younger crowd who have been setting up a Pokestop at their establishment which draws the kids into their restaurant! Genius 🙂
