There are many lists of “top websites,” but we’ve learned most of them.  However, we  haven’t ever put together a blog post of where to find all of them or even place a list together here in a single blog post.  As a result, here in June 2020, we thought we would share what we know.  Without further adieu, here you go:

* Google did not list google.com and youtube.com in their Top 1,000 list; they are included at the bottom of our table. Also, a few of the sites failed to analyze, so it’s really the top 975. We’re working on it!

Note that this list was made for Google’s Ad Planner service, but the list has been discontinued.

Turns out this list IS outdated.  Supposedly, there’s a site called wirefresh that posts info by Lee J. on May 28, 2010 identifying this came from “Ad Planner” as highlighted in GTMetrix’s information.  The chinese sites ont he list though did mislead us a tad.  Nevertheless, this gives us good historical context.  So, this list has changed significantly in 10 years!
